Hi, I'm SJ. 👋🏽 I'm a computer science teacher who's been slowly — but consistently — carving out my path into cybersecurity. I learn best by doing, so most of my work comes from hands-on labs, breaking things, fixing them, and trying again.

I'm a curious and enthusiastic security professional with a strong commitment to ethics. THE PIVOT

My experience as a Computer Science teacher sharpened my ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, manage high-stakes projects under pressure, and support people through difficult learning curves — skills that translate directly into cybersecurity. Teaching gave me a mindset: understand a system deeply enough to explain it to someone else. That same mindset drives how I approach every security challenge. I don't just want to stop attacks. I want to understand them.
